creative engine, and inclusion strategist.
Currently residing in West Philly, Katherine grew up in New Jersey in the woods with the cows and antique shops, and moved to Philadelphia in August of 2010. Katherine holds a BA from Lehigh University graduating with a major in Psychology, a major in Theatre Arts (with Honors), and a minor in Business from Rauch Business College. In 2009 Katherine studied abroad with the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England.
Katherine strives to create work that creates positive disruption - diverse and inclusive storytelling told with bodies that look like the community, and shared with audiences that also look like the community, every part. This storytelling is not limited to the stage. In every facet of our lives - personally, professionally, socially - we present a story of ourselves and the communities we are part of. We all deserve to be seen, respected, to feel that we belong (because we do), and to have our stories heard. Katherine challenges any work space they are in to be anti-racist and diverse in bodies, advocates for folx with disabilities and marginalized communities, and demands sexual autonomy for all.

Creative Engine
Katherine has a passion for new and devised work. They originated the roles of Hannah, Sue, and the Cop in the world premiere of Bruce Graham's Gary, and Mama in Close Your Legs Honey: A New Musical.
In addition to working with Philadelphia-area theater companies, Katherine created SEX TALK (the show) - a solo performance series directed by long-time collaborator Shamus Hunter McCarty.
Write Me a Letter is an ongoing virtual performance using text from anonymously submitted letters. Katherine is the coordinator and curator of this community project.
Katherine is also developing a piece about Sophie Lyons, the self-proclaimed "Queen of the Underworld".
And yet another project churns in their brain - the story of Iago, one of the world's most famous villains.

The world is comprised of systems designed to keep those at the top in power.
These systems do not serve us.
So we disrupt them.
